Service Description
Yin for Inner Courage: Embrace, Release, and Renew Autumn is a season of transformation, a time when nature teaches us the power of letting go. Just as trees shed their leaves, we too are invited to release what no longer serves us, creating space for growth and renewal. In this special Yin Yoga workshop, we will explore the metal element, focusing on the lungs and large intestine meridians—often referred to as the tender organs. Our practice will be centered around cultivating inner courage, allowing us to confront and release deep-seated emotions that may be holding us back. The lungs, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), are linked to grief and sadness. When out of balance, these emotions can stagnate within us, diminishing our vitality and courage. However, when harmonized, the lungs also embody the qualities of gratitude, integrity, and a calm, confident spirit. Throughout the session, we will engage in Yin postures that specifically target the lungs and large intestine meridians. These long-held, passive stretches will help to clear and balance our lung chi, releasing any lingering grief and fostering a sense of renewal. As we hold these poses, we will also integrate breathwork to deepen the connection between our body and mind, supporting the emotional release and promoting a state of inner calm. By the end of the workshop, you may find that you’ve shed layers of emotional heaviness, much like the trees shedding their leaves, and created space for a new, lighter way of being. You’ll leave with a sense of renewed courage, clarity, and an open heart, ready to embrace the changes and challenges of the season with truthfulness and integrity. Join us for this transformative practice, where Yin Yoga becomes a pathway to accessing and nurturing your inner courage, helping you to embrace the natural cycles of life and find balance in both body and spirit. In addition Yin offers profound physical benefits by gently stretching and revitalizing the connective tissues—ligaments, tendons, and fascia. During the workshop, take the opportunity to pamper yourself further by exploring our selection of cards, trying aromatherapy oils, or simply creating your own cozy yin nest. Join us for a morning of relaxation, self-discovery, and embracing the wisdom of autumn. We'd love to have you there to unwind, listen to your body, and nurture your inner self. Come, relax, and let the magic of Yin and 'Yoga Nidra' wash over you. Michelle x
