Wintering - A Yin & Nidra Seasonal Journey
Slow Down, turn inward, rest deeply, and replenish for the season ahead. Sunday 15th November 12:00
Service Description
Wintering A Yin and Nidra Journey Sunday 15 November | 12pm to 1.15pm As we move towards winter, nature invites us to slow down, turn inward and find nourishment in stillness. Join Michelle for another of her seasonal Yin and Nidra gatherings, held approximately every month or two, offering a little space to pause, settle and reconnect with yourself. This seasonal practice will explore the Water element and its association with the Kidney and Urinary Bladder meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through a small selection of quiet, supported Yin postures, meditation and a deeply restful iRest Nidra practice, we will create space to soften the body, quieten the mind and replenish our energy as we enter the winter season. Yin invites us to slow down and spend time in stillness, gently working with the body and its connective tissues while creating space to notice the sensations, thoughts and feelings that arise. Meditation offers a moment to pause and turn our attention inward, while Nidra provides an opportunity for deep rest, allowing us to step away from the demands of everyday life and settle into a quieter space of awareness. There is something particularly nourishing about making this time for yourself on a Sunday. Rather than carrying the busyness of the weekend straight into another week, Nidra offers an opportunity to rest, receive and create a little more space within yourself, helping you feel more settled as you prepare for the days ahead. This is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life, take some time just for you and allow yourself to simply be. There is nothing to achieve and nowhere else you need to be. Rest. Receive. Soften. Reconnect. No previous Yin, meditation or Nidra experience is necessary. All levels are welcome. A beautiful way to close the weekend, nourish yourself and welcome the season ahead.
