Service Description
What is Myofascial Release? This is a guided 1-1 session where you will be supported thrugh the use of therapy balls, supported thrugh the use of therapy balls, supported postioning Iincluding Yin based shapes ) and slow intentional release techniques to work into the fascia , the connective tissue that surrounds and supports the muscles throughout the body. Over time, fascia can become tight or restricted due to stress, posture, or repetitive movement. This can lead to stiffness, reduced mobility, and areas of deep tension or discomfort. Myofascial release works slowly and intentionally into these areas, helping the body to soften, release, and move with greater ease. Why choose this session? If you are feeling: tight, stiff, or restricted in your body holding tension in your neck, shoulders, or back discomfort from sitting, stress, or daily habits a lack of ease or mobility This session offers a more targeted, body-focused approach to help you release and rebalance. How the session works This is a guided one-to-one session where you will be supported through: the use of therapy balls to apply gentle, sustained pressure supported positioning to allow the body to soften slow, intentional release techniques optional hands-on guidance where appropriate Sessions can focus on specific areas (e.g. neck, shoulders, hips) or offer a full-body release. This work is particularly effective in a one-to-one setting. Unlike a class environment, you are fully supported and guided, allowing time for the body to respond gradually and release more deeply, without rushing or comparing yourself to others. Sessions are 60 minutes and can be tailored to your needs on the day. You are welcome to share any areas of tension in advance, or we can explore this together at the start of your session. Cancellation Policy
MC Yoga & Reiki — Cancellation Policy (2026 Update) Classes (Weekly Yoga Classes) If you booked in for a class , and cannot make it, *24 hours* notice is required to cancel a class booking. If you cancel with at least 24 hours notice, and I can offer your space to someone else, your payment may be carried over and MUST be used within 7 days. If cancellation is not made within 24 hours, or if your space cannot be filled, the class is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward. Class Passes: A 6-class pass is valid for 8 weeks. A 10-class pass is valid for 12 weeks. Once a pass expires, it cannot be extended, carried forward or frozen. Please note: Additional buffer time is already built into each pass, so extensions are not possible. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact me and we will discuss it together. *Workshops* Workshops require 48 hours notice to cancel. If cancellation is made with 48 hours or more, and I can fill your place, I can offer a refund or transfer. If cancellation is not made within 48 hours, or if your place cannot be filled, the booking is non-refundable. Workshop bookings cannot be carried over to the next workshop, except in rare, specific situations where discussed with me in advance. Reiki Appointments (1:1 Sessions) Reiki sessions require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in the loss of deposit. Missed appointments or same-day cancellations are subject to 50% of the full session fee, as venue cost and allocated time cannot be recovered. Retreats Retreats have a separate cancellation policy, which will be clearly outlined on all retreat information and booking forms. Why These Policies Exist These guidelines help cover studio rental, preparation time, travel, and the cost of holding your place.
