“Awakening from Winter: Friday 21st Feb 2025 A Yin Yoga Workshop for Renewal” As winter loosens its grip and the first whispers of spring begin to stir, this is the perfect time to honor the transition between seasons. Join us for an extended 2.5-hour Yin yoga practice, thoughtfully designed to support your body and mind in shedding the remnants of winter and gently awakening to the possibilities of early spring. This immersive session will allow you to: • Dive Deeper into the Practice: With longer-held poses, you’ll have the space to truly feel into the sensations, shapes, and subtle shifts within your body, unlocking deeper layers of tension and cultivating mindfulness. • Experience the Power of Rebounds: Between poses, you’ll rest and allow the body to integrate the effects of each shape, fostering a sense of balance and harmony. • Bookend Your Practice with Stillness: The practice begins with a grounding meditation to help you settle into the present moment and ends with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra. This guided relaxation will support you in embracing stillness and resetting both body and mind. • Encourage Seasonal Renewal: By targeting meridian lines associated with winter (Kidney and Bladder) and early spring (Liver and Gallbladder), this practice will help you release winter’s stagnation, restore energetic balance, and prepare for the vitality of the coming season.
